Hi !
Over the past several years, my focus has been on helping individuals, particularly women, navigate the sometimes-rough waters of separation and/or divorce as well as other personal difficulties. I have helped many to thrive through
some of life’s unexpected turns and it has been a pleasure to serve.
I recently began to see the similarities in challenges between my clients going through trauma and divorce with those who are business owners and leaders. With decades of experience in management, executive support, customer support and sales, working for international, national and
small businesses, I have vast experience helping executives, executive assistants, middle managers and business owners. I have experienced and overcome many of the challenges that people face in their careers. As someone who previously owned a business and as the current owner of a coaching business, I can also relate to the difficulties faced by, and opportunities available to business owners.
Here are a few areas of similarities for executives and business owners:
- Unexpected changes - are an unavoidable part of owning or running a business. It’s the same with divorce. Unexpected changes are
inevitable. If we are rigid and inflexible when it comes to change, we are going to get bruised and battered by the winds of change. I help my clients to become more elastic when it comes to change. This enables them to bend with the wind when that is appropriate, or spring back to regain their balance when change is
temporary.
- A wider-angle lens - is one way I help individuals who are facing personal challenges to move out of victimhood and take control over their lives. We are often too close to an issue to see it clearly. A wide-angle lens allows us to
see more ideas and gives us a different perspective of the situation. This strategy works especially well to help executives, teams and business owners to take a more expansive view of themselves, their company, their customers, and what is possible for them.
- Reinvention - is how my clients who are dealing with divorce, learn to reimagine who they are so
they can thrive post-divorce. Executives, managers, executive assistants and business owners can benefit by understanding how they are seen by their customers, peers, teams and upper management. If there is a disconnect between how you are seen by others at work and how you think you come across, reinvention can resolve that issue.
Working professionals
are not exempt from having relationship problems, divorce pain, parenting difficulties, health, financial or any of he other challenges we face as human beings. If not managed, these issues can prevent an executive from being as effective as possible and may even hold them back from promotions. Coaching can be a game-changer in these situations.
As an
Executive Life Coach, I provide support to individuals who want to improve their business, develop better leadership skills, develop the leader mindset, set and achieve goals, build a cohesive team, get promoted, start a business, reinvent themselves and much more.
